Mr. Saliterman handled a bankruptcy issue for me recently I was very impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail. The settlement approved was substantially more than what was initially offered thanks to his work on this matter.

I worked with Dick Saliterman for over 30 years on the legal affairs of our common client, who owned and operated the largest tax and duty-free business along the northern tier of the U.S. from Minnesota to Washington State. Dick was always very prompt and tremendously tenacious and thorough in all our work together and his drafting of legal documents was always detailed and meticulous and I had numerous occasions to review them, so I know. Now the thing is with Mr. Saliterman, we go back about 30 years and when I had a huge shop downtown Minneapolis for 33 years, a instrument service center, with several people working for me full time, we meet Mr. Saliterman sometime after we started and we were so impressed with his thoroughness that we decided to retain him right along. I even referred him to other businessmen and they started also to get help from Mr. Saliterman. He has been a very, very good loyal and wonderful lawyer. His billings were reasonable and I never argued with him at all, nor did the other businessmen that I know of and really that's about it. He has been very honest the whole time.

Richard resolved a contract dispute for me after the fact. He discerned the issues, expertly negotiated an agreement with the other party, and worked non-stop on my behalf. He has an excellent reputation, is a very smart attorney and has co-authored law books. He has reasonable fees, and explains the status and process of a case. He exemplified fair and business like behavior, while developing expert analysis and strategy for me. I would definitely use him again.

Unfortunately this is not the proper forum to describe my extreme displeasure in hiring Mr. Saliterman. He provided erroneous advice towards my case generating excessive charges. After becoming frustrated with how my case was proceeding I completed my own investigation and learned my immediate issues would be solved by using documentation I already had possession of. When confronted, Mr. Saliterman informed me this was not correct and used my ignorance of the law to continue with his advice and fees. My immediate issue was resolved after releasing Mr. Saliterman from service and following through with my own plan. I do not recommend Mr. Saliterman or the law firm he represents.
