Lauren Caudill has bad reviews because she is horrible. As a GAL she sides with one parent and is unprofessional to the other. Does not follow what us in place with a court order. I feel bad for kids who have her as a GAL. She needs to be audited as an attorney. She makes a lot of assumptions and does not research. Sad the court keeps her.

If you get her as your GAL make sure your lawyer is a friend of hers. Once she found out who my exes lawyer was she changed her tone and did zero research on the case. She was completely biased and we chose to end the case before trial as we could see the writing on the wall. Thanks to her my kids are now trapped in a home where there often isn't any food and where they were molested. She's a joke of a GAL and I feel for any children who have been forced to stay in bad situations due to her caring more about her professional relationships than the actual child.

Lauren might get bad reviews because she does not put up with any b.s. She is no-nonsense. In my case she figured out what was going on in about an hour and was impartial... looking out for the best interests of my children. Even when they don't realize what is best for them. My only complaint is that she is not timely with her communication, but I know how much work ... and sometime serious cases (more serious than mine) ... that a G.A.L. has on their plates.

Ms. Caudill was the GAL for my son for several years. My situation was ugly and sticky, as many are. Divorce and custody hearings are fueled by emotion, which is why we need a GAL to look out for our children. She was ONLY on my son's side, ONLY looking out for what was in his best interest. These reviews are shocking to me. She is not, and cannot be, "out to win". She has nothing to win. She's not a part of the case. She's impartial.

Lauren Caudill has been the ONLY GAL that has cared about the welfare and safety of my children. She most certainly is not afraid to weed through bs, do her job or whats right for the children. I give her many thanks.
