Where in that statement does is state that a lawyer is worried about the future of the accused? During the consultation, my daughter brings up how she was verbally and physically abused, and his response was, "You are going to hinder his career." Who in their right mind says that? Either this individual is a misogynist or does not care to take on new clients.
Daniel Bern demonstrated condescending behavior. Daniel Bern proceeded to ask my daughter, “why is your mother here?” Not to mention when discussing abuse, he basically accuses my daughter of lying. And to his remarks regarding the abuse. Daniel Bern claims that women report the same time the violence happens. Perhaps in most cases, but this is not one of the cases.
Daniel Bern proceeded to call my daughter a jerk. What kind of lawyer makes excuses for the accused? The accused did not stay at the hospital when the child was born. Daniel Bern said, “Maybe he didn’t go because he was not comfortable with the people there.”

I'm so grateful for Daniel Bern. He's been representing me for the last 7 years, with a quadro, child custody, visitation & child support. My case is complex in nature. Well I only know how to tell the truth for my Christian convictions, so this is why I am going to get to the point and say Mr. Daniel Bern was a blessing for us! He gave a very precise instructions on how we can better our chances for a favored verdict in the court's eyes. His knowledge and experience of the legal system (court) in Visalia is his ACE in a poker hand! We won our case because of first God gave us favor and the other was of his wit, preparation, and presentation. I am very grateful for him and we will always keep him as our legal counsel for that area as long as he is in practice!!

Mr. Bern is an outstanding attorney. He is straight forward, honest, very intelligent and fights very hard for you. Sometimes, we as clients would like to see our case go a certain way because we think we know how it should be going but there is a reason why we are not attorneys and have to hire one. I put my faith in God and that led me to hire a attorney and Mr. Bern was who I picked. I gave him all my trust and sometimes I could not see where he was going with my case but I had to be patient and it payed off. Mr. Bern got me full custody of my 9 year old twins, my baby girl is Down Syndrome and it was that much more important that I get full custody of them. I highly recommend Mr. Bern to everyone. Any and every question or concern that I had was answered in a timely manner by him or his very knowledgeable Secretary, Mary.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dan. Dan is trustworthy, straightforward, and a downright nice guy. Dan and Mary (paralegal) are efficient and EXTREMELY knowledgable. I had a 5 year battle with my ex that started in Fresno and was transferred to Tulare to create delays in my custody battle. In my initial consult with Dan he listened, asked basic questions, educated me on Family Law code, and set my expectations for what was to come. Dan didn't disappoint. Within one month he had a court date on the calendar, mediation was set, and a contested hearing was booked. Dan fought in court, made great citations and arguments, and put the two highest priced Family Law lawyers (even ones marked as CFLS) in town in their place. In less than 6 months I went from struggling with child support payments and battling out a complex 25 page custody order to a simple 6 page order and no child support. That doesn't come from magic, it came from his experience, knowledge and quality of work.

Daniel is a rude liar. He doesn't care about you or your case. He's more than willing to give the other client what they want than to "waste time" fighting for what you want just because he doesn't think it's important. He belittled me and made me feel like an idiot when I got emotional. He will bill you more than he deserves. I'm telling you DO NOT HIRE DANIEL BERN!!! You will regret it.

When looking for an attorney, it was important to me to find one that not only was knowledgeable about the law, but also was focused on representing my interests in an efficient manner. Mr. Bern certainly exceeded my expectations in this regard. I found his straight-forward approach refreshening, as it was always clear to me what we were focusing on and where we stood throughout each step of the litigation. Mr. Bern is very honest and straight forward. He kept me informed of all options and issues i might face in my case. He helped me to be heard. Won my case by a landslide....he had NO mercy on the other party. BEWARE- if u have issues with truth telling, prepare yourself for the alteration in comfort level.

Failed numerous times to return calls, His Office Manager, aka his wife stated that she never received calls. Did not represent timely, nor to my wishes. Was told he did not have time to see me when the case became difficult. Have not completed the divorce, but have continually dunned for payment.

I was very pleased with Mr. Bern's services. He is direct and honest. Mr. Bern kept me well informed on my case and his office assitant was always helpful. I could contact his office 24 hours a day 7 days a week if I needed to.

Daniel Bern will tell you anything you want to hear but when it comes to going to court it depends what his mood is. He lies and WILL raise his price when matter is done. His wife the office receptionist is always crying in office and they always agreeing. Be careful with this attorney, his consultations are free but he is a liar and will feed you what he thinks you want to hear.
