She pretends to be all about social justice, but I used to be a tenant in a property she owned. Everything was great until the lease transitioned to month-to-month. We were given 14 days notice of a massive rent increase. This is against the law in California, and the increase was so massive that it would have required a full 60 days notice. How does an attorney's office not have knowledge of landlord/tenant law? Answer: they do. They were just hoping to take advantage of a couple of college students. Luckily I read up on the law, and tried to make contact with them about the legality of their request. I called, emailed, even showed up to the office with no response. I gave my 30 days notice and spent my last semester of school homeless living in a vehicle because of these people. Some social justice warriors.
