Terrible lawyer. She filed everything under the sun to rack up massive bills. In the end she hurt me and my young daughters much more than my horrible ex husband did. She left us utterly impoverished and was still seeking more. First day in court she pissed off the judge and she only got worse after that. I feel the judge totally took my ex’s side bc she was so rude and off-putting in her courtroom demeanor. She also pissed off the probation person who reports to the judge. Literally could not stop interrupting him which infuriated him. Horrible experience. Choose literally anyone else.

If somehow you find this review before you hire her BEWARE. Elaine is the epitome of what a bad lawyer is. Useless in court. She will lead you astray. Her only goal it to fatten her bank account for her retirement. her original fee doubled. After the divorce I received an other bill a month later. 600 for a couple phone calls. even after telling her to stop doing anything (Divorce was over and paid for). month later got another bill. Told her I'm not paying and if I hear from her again. I will take her to court.. Never heard from her again.. so much more all for a simple no n contested divorce...OH she comes across as grand-ma in tweety bird. SO BEWARE you have been warned..

Attorney did not listen to the info I conveyed and, when she did, she dismissed it despite my documentation. Ill prepared- e.g., the deposition for which I had to pay was conducted so late that I did not have the written deposition to read prior to Court; info needed re ex's finances was dialed in by another attorney in the late afternoon of our day at Court in the 'negotiating room'; final papers were prepared the weekend prior to a Monday court date; she lost pages of the final decree that was so revised with handwriting that it was illegible- and, by the way, all revisions made that day were not in my favor; discounted anything I said and, in the end, was either bullied by my ex or his bulldog attorney. Another attorney who reviewed my divorce findings was shocked that so many concessions were made at day's end and written in frantically - and had never seen a woman get such a bad deal in a divorce. I am still dealing with the aftermath.
