This lawyer represented my teenage stepchildren in a modification to change custody. Although he determined that our home provided better structure and opportunities, he attempted to persuade us into giving up the children so they could be live with their mom. Mom had given them up five years ago due to an inability to care for them for a number of personal reasons. The teenagers would have to move an hour away and start over in a new high school. The whole situation didn't make sense. We feel that he didn't consider the reality that the teenagers were attempting to manipulate the situation, so they could do what they wanted. His office also made billing errors, so make sure you keep track of your services. They will vigorously go after money due.
