I didn't know what to expect when I was charged with Burglary of Habitation. I was scared and I didn't know what to do. This left me wondering whether there's anyone who could help me.

Jim Burnham is a tremendous lawyer who cares about and protects his clients! He
represented me on charges of felony theft and worked incredibly hard on my

My father-in-law, a teacher for 16-years, was charged with indecency with a child contact in 2019. He was arrested in September of 2019, but the initial outcry in the case was in 2016, when a student of his made this claim. However, the police department waited two years to file a case against my father-in-law. So, in January 2020, we hired Jim Burnham to represent my father-in-law.

My 17-year-old stepson was charged with three serious felonies: manslaughter, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and failure to stop and render aid (accident involving death).

I was charged with a two count federal indictment, including one count of obstruction of justice and one count of tampering with a witness by the IRS in federal court in Dallas.
The IRS secretly videotaped me as I was talking to a witness and they said I was obstructing justice. My first lawyer scared me into pleading guilty, when I told the judge I was not guilty; the judge gave me a new trial.
I then decided to hire Jim Burnham as my lawyer for my federal jury trial because I did not believe I had done anything wrong.
