I did most of the work, she just was always head spinning or out of the Country and unreachable. Didn't communicate at all, and generally just a bad attitude.

I actually felt sorry for my X who had her as her attorney. She robbed my X blind. My X wanted to modify child support but clearly did not meet the basic criteria required in the law to do so. My lawyer tried to explain this in detail to my X but she wouldn't listen. Tula is a serious bully, she threatened that she would put my kids on the stand for some "abuse" made up story if I didn't comply with her terms. She even did a deposition for some crazy reason that just racked up more bills for my X. In short, my Lawyer called her bluff on everything. We EASILY won because she knew she was not within the law to even modify the support in the first place. I could tell the Judge was pissed at her for wasting everyone time. Knowing that she didn't have a case to begin with,she continued to rack up my X's bill as much as possible. Trust me I don't often feel sorry for my X but in this case I did!

I used Tula for my divorce years ago. Let's just say that my ex-husband's lawyer did a MUCH better job of taking care of her client. I often found other client's documents in my legal file at her office (unprofessional!) and she went through staff like most people change their socks. Fees were outrageous for the amount and quality of work done, and the divorce dragged on two years! I would NOT recommend her at all.

STAY as FAR away from this woman as possible! The other ratings are correct! She takes your money, doesn't work on your case, does NOT call you back, does NOT keep you informed on what is going on with your case or where you stand. She is rude, VERY unprofessional and a bully to her staff, clients as well as her peers! She is never up to date on her billing UNLESS she's getting ready to leave for Greece - then you will get a threatening letter stating if you don't pay she will drop you. This lawyer lacks ethics and morals. My case went to court. Most things were ruled in my favor however when the court papers came back they were incorrect. She left for vacation and never called me back to help fix what was wrong in the court papers so I could get what was owed to me from my ex. I pretty much paid her to screw me over! It was VERY stressful having her as my lawyer. It's not worth your time. health or money to hire her.

Tula is my ex-wife's attorney. She will only bleed you dry of your money. I filed for a modification of parenting time in Oct. 2015 and the case has been continued 3x at Tula's request. She lied to a judge claiming there were claims of "severe domestic abuse" against my ex-wife causing a 2 day trial, which racked up the bill. To which there is no eveidence of any such abuse nor has any abuse ever taken place. Upon doing this, convinced my ex-wife to go along with it. She suggested my ex-wife take my children to therapy shortly after my motion of parenting time to defame my reputation. It is now Feb. 2017 and my children still don't have visitation with me alone. She has absolutely no morals and does not look out for the well-being of my children (ages 12-6), which at this stage of their life, need their father the most! She is only looking to fill her pockets with money by continuing each court date and claiming false allegations. Very unethical and deceiving.

Very had to get a hold of and never replies back to phone calls or emails...She will get you everything that you deserve.. It just will take a lot of time and money cause she never tells you what is going on... would not recommend.....

I have read the others review's sounds like disgruntled employee writing. Them as well as client that did do as she advised. Fact: I had her for 3 and half years. Not one employee. Change. She was well prepared for my case infact she had cases to back up here arguments my case was a case was acase not felt with in lake county infact had to go to state level after she won locally. She had my child best interest at heart and put a end to emotional turmoil for my child. Ya she upset me a few times ya I upset her but this was emotionally charged case. Would I use her again without a doubt

She's my attorney and I feel like she didn't do anything for my case. She is always on vacation. I believe she steals money from her clients to go on her vacations because I know for a fact she hasn't done anything for my case.

While knowledgeable, her work ethic is a joke. The staff turnover is absurd. If you don't have money in trust, don't expect her to work on your case or return your calls. She will blame everyone and everything for her neglect of a matter. It's NEVER her fault and she's got a stack of excuses at the ready. She's a bully and a gossip and won't hesitate to badmouth clients and/or other lawyers. Save yourself a lot of time, trouble and cash and hire someone - anyone - else. If you're already a client, threaten a disciplinary action to get her moving. It works.

I am a lawyer that has had many cases against her and I have had clients who have come to me after firing her. Tula while a wonderful conversationalist, she is crass, unprofessional, mean, a bully, and a liar. In the past, she has spread vicious rumors about other lawyers and professionals in the legal community. When I have cases against her, I find that she does not know the facts and is unprepared. Although she may say otherwise, she does not work collaboratively with other lawyers and creates hard feelings and long term animosity between divorcing parents who will have to deal with each other for the rest of their lives.

She is a poor excuse for a human being, if you have children involved she will do everything possible to make non-custodial parent pay as much as possible. she has a real poor attitude when she gets beat in a motion. If you use this woman your a fool. Even her office assistant gave me advice against her since she is rude and unprofessional. Her bottom intrest is making her money so she can go to Greece 3 or 4 times a year.

I hired Tula to represent me in my divorce. My ex didn't hire a lawyer so we both dealt with her. My first visit with her to dicuss filing for divorce she was very rude and literally had me in tears. It's upsetting to have to file for divorce let alone pay someone to represent you who has no empahty what soever. She is very degrading and tries to make you feel ignorant. She wouldn't put everyting in my divorce decree I wanted, looking back now I understand why..she wanted me to have to come back to her and of course pay her more money to get everything I wanted. Her office as the BIGGEST turnover rate I have ever seen. I've explained my storey/issues with half of Lake County because she goes through so much help. She absolutely does not ever call you back or keep you in the loop as to what is going on with your case. I have been trying to get her to call me back for the past 8 months now to talk to her about an issue that I paid her to rectify and it never got taken care of!

Very unprofessional attorney She takes your retainer however, she don't work on your case. She has ties to courts in Merrrillville Indiana and she thinks she can bully her clients. People she don't return calls and when you attempt to get a hold of her she threatens you to fire you as her client. I pray the disciplinary board in Indianapolis reviews her for overfilling and fraudulent billing. Save your money and do your homework and find a reputable attorney.

At first Attorney Kavadias seemed to know what was going on with my case. Then I did not hear from her for weeks on end. She wouldn't return my phone calls, ever. She didn't listen to my witnesses or use the evidence that I gave her. All she is interested in is $$$ Billing! Big surprise, right? None of her office assistants or associates seem to work with her long, and it isn't her demand for work that is the issue. It is her lack of response to her clients. I hope she is being investigaed for billing practices. Many thousands of dollars later I still have not resolved all of the problems that were caused by her inability to properly do her job. She may sound like an intelligent person, she is, I'll give her that, but she is incompetent. Zero Star rating if it were possible!
