I’ve dealt with a lot of lawyers in the community professionally and otherwise. Glavin may go down as the worst of the worst. Totally incompetent and ineffective. Makes claims to get your money and never delivered. Slow responses or never responds. I would never recommend this attorney to anyone.

Nope, nope, nope. If you are looking for an honest fair lawyer, keep going! I retained her services only to be baited toward her mortgage broker friend’s firm. She seemed more interested in selling me a mortgage than resolving my court case. She was very mean, defensive, and combative whenever I asked questions regarding her services for which I paid.
Ended up quitting on me right before my court filing was due, which left me scrambling for a new lawyer. Extremely unethical and unprofessional practice. Lastly, lol, her profile pic is at least 20 years old. Run away!!!!

Mrs. Glavin did a fantastic job on my case. She was responsive and timely on all the communications sent to not only her, but me as well, making sure I didn't miss important dates and items that were due. She was patient with me when I didn't understand what was going on, taking the time to give me an in-depth explanation without making me feel ignorant. After her first representation, I went back and had her do a trust for me as well as a will. For both items she asked me the correct questions to get everything I needed, even when I didn't know I needed those items. Because of all her questions, I know nothing was missed. Take time to contact her and speak with her. I feel confident you will be as pleased as I was.

The 10/10/2017 post threatens physical bodily harm to me. This person has never been a client and I have not taken any four month absence from my law office (or even two week) in 39 years of law practice. I serve the public for a modest attorney's fee and there is no person for whom I have only returned 5 of his 17 phone calls. This person is probably a disgruntled family member of a real client. I object to the anonymous threat of bodily harm on this site and have reported this matter to criminal authorities. Too much violence in this world.

This attorney, Grace Glavin was absolutely horrible to deal with, through and through. Not only did she fumble about what should've been a very straight forward legal proceeding, she was just disgusting to talk to and cussed at me and my family multiple times. She called me names behind my back, and was so unbelievably condescending, if she'd have been a man, I'd have decked her. All this while charging upwards of 3000 dollars for her services. Not to mention that she disappeared for 4 months during our proceedings due to a "personal matter", and of the 17 phone calls we made to her, she only returned 5 of them......EVER. If you have an Estate case, or any other family legal matter you need handled, then run like hell away from her and find a reputable attorney. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE COMING TO HER OFFICE!!!!

She was supposed make it possible for me to sell my mom's house after she died, after she talked me into doing it. She charged me 2000.00 to do this. Once I gave her the money, she Would not get back to me when I would call or email. I hired her in October and she still wasn't done in Nov with paper work I hired to do. When it was time to sell the house, and then asked me again for things I already sent her. Then when she finally got it done, she took another 2500.00 out of the sale profits. She TOOK 4500.00 total from me, and I got 900.00. She's a shyster, and a scumbag. I was sobbing and She was snippy and then a bully when I questioned her. I never had any contract or breakdown of any work or time she put in. She tried to show me some paper,which I don't remember ever seeing, to justify her taking this money but she wrote this in 2 different inks, so 2 different times? And when I looked closer, my signature was not on there. She's very disorganized and flighty. Horid lawyer/ person.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER!! Worst attorney ever. She was hired for filing an eviction. She never filed the papers and kept trying to get the tenant to pay which is not what we wanted. She was trying to run up the charges any way she could. If there was a rating less than "1" she would get that.

Grace Glavin and her staff handled a very difficult probate estate for my family and wsa excellent at managing the issues of some difficult people. Over the last ten years, Grace Glavin has also handled real estate closings and family law matters for my family as well as giving me business and corporate advice. She is very generous with her time and very well respected.

After taking money upfront for a short sale, I have had to ride this office for updates. They did not negotiate with Bank then took first offer and convinced it i was the right thing to do, Grace did not read the sales contract or Bank offer and was very angry when I corrected her error and became pugilistic on a conference call and made snide unprofessional comments, to date she has not given the buyers a date for their decision on closing. You are far better off dealing the banks yourself than using this attorney. Very scatter brained there seems to be no organization to her office. If there were negative ratings here I would choose the lowest.

I cannot say enough about how helpful the Law Office of Grace Glavin were. They responsed quickly to my calls & emails and answered all my questions. I found them to be reasonably priced and at the end of the day, I got the result I was looking for. Ultimately I am very happy with this firm and would most certainly recommend them to others. I would highly recommend the Law Firm of Grace Glavin. In particular, her collegue Mr. Andrew Barclay assisted my fiancee with obtaining his green card. We had previously been to another "highly recommended" attorney and he did not provide the expected results (and was very expensive) so we contacted Mr. Barclay upon recommendation of several of our friends who were his previous clients. We would highly recommend this firm. It was good value for money. Their flexability with our scheduling needs was very much appreciated. We found everyone to be very professional, friendly and felt like they really listened (and cared) to our concerns and needs and proceeded accordingly. These guys are the best I had great dealings with Andrew Barclay, he advised us through out the whole process of renewing our visa. We had previously been renewing every two years. She never returns phone calls or emails and to make matters worse when you have an appointment she is always 20-30 minutes late and once in the appointment she is rude and nonsensical. She doesn't know what she is talking about. The only way I got my money back was threatening a complaint to the bar. Sometimes I thought a bum on the street could offer me more advice on my legal matters than Ms.Glavin.

Knowledge of foreclosure, real estate transactions/closings/procedures is frankly laughable. does not care about her clients needs whatsoever. Personally dealt with her and pray I never have to again. If you need help with a foreclosure or real estate transaction- save yourself the stress and consult someone with experience and caring. We had a simple property case that we were promised it would take weeks to resolve and it has been greatly complicated by Mrs. Glavin. Everything has been mishandled. Try to contact her and all you get is a load of people preventing all contact and not returning phone calls. The only way that we can talk to the lawyer is by surprise visits.
