I hired Alan for a case against the State of Tennessee. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. His work to generate a positive outcome could not be appreciated more. I was treated with respect and most importantly, he achieves results. If you want results, make the call and hire this man. If you are in trouble and need the Best in legal advice and representation then HIRE Alan Beard! I was facing two felony charges (non violent) and was looking at some serious jail time and fines that would have made me lose my job and taken me away from my children. Alan is such a great guy. When I had my first meeting with him we took a walk in Downtown Chattanooga and we got to know each other. That showed me that he truly cares about helping people. I was definitely scared about my charges but he ensured me that everything would be alright. Alan was able to get the felony charges dropped and I just got probation and a fine which ment that I was able to keep my job and not be taken away from my young children. Alan Beard is not the BEST lawyer in Chattanooga, he is the BEST lawyer in Tennesse! Whether you are in the middle of a custody case or a criminal case, he is absolutely the best. I worked with more than 10 lawyers in Chattanooga alone and he is absolutely amazing at his craft. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this this lawyer. I just want to say first off, the person / comment from August is not accurate at all. Alan Beard is the most accessible attorney, he responds so quickly to his clients via text or a phone call. Every time I spoke about my attorney to my friends or family, I'd mention, "I can ask my attorney through text and he will let me know," they would be in shock that my attorney was so accessible to me no matter the day or time. All of my friends and family said they wished their lawyers were that accessible. The great thing about Alan, is that he makes you feel as though you're his only client. He truly cares about your case, he cares about not only representing you, but actually educating you on the law. Alan Beard was the first lawyer I hired for an Order of Protection hearing, and I am glad I made the right choice the first time. Alan was the first attorney I've ever needed. This case was a false arrest warrant as the result of a downtown scam. Alan talked me through what needed to be done and assured me that things were going to be fine. Not being familiar with the court process, Alan walked me through what would happen and assured me continually. When it appeared the case would be delayed, Alan interceded on my behalf and the case was dismissed. My record was expunged. The judge commented on how well my attorney represented me. I'm sure that if you're reading this you are searching for the best lawyer to represent you for an upcoming trial. I did this, frantically searching for the one person that could help me in a time where I felt helpless and quite frankly, alone. I hired Mr. Beard to represent me in a child support case. I had worked with a number of attorneys involving domestic matters before hiring Mr. Beard. The first thing Mr. Beard did was have meet with him over lunch to discuss my case. In addition to the facts and the law he was interested in my personal story. Who I was and what I was trying to achieve in that courtroom.
My case required a great deal of fact gathering, planning, and legal research. We successfully navigated around every obstacle which was put in our way.
And in the end when it was all over we achieved not just a good result but the best result possible. It is rare in life that you get everything you want. It is extraordinarily rare to get everything you want from a court case while working against the system. In my case I got everything I wanted.

I chose Alan as my lawyer to represent me in my child custody/visitation case. He talked in our initial consultation as though he would really fight for what I wanted. As my case evolved, I lost trust in him because he would never return calls and he thought my concerns were senseless. I thought he was to help me. Then 1 week before going to court, he up and quit on me, saying he had tripled his fee, cause he took my case as a flat rate. I think he didn't fight for me cause he chose the flat fee and my case went longer than he thought. I would not recommend his services to anyone..

After experiencing the worst lawyer, im now experiencing the best. Alan took charge of my case before our consultation ended. He made sure that my husbands attorney did not take advantage of me and once he was on case, she pretty much backed down. His years of experience really shows in his work. He is very organized and keeps an open line of communication at all times. Finally a lawyer that returns phone calls and does not force you into bankruptcy with his fees. He really understands that divorce is difficult emotionally and financially and strives to eliminate all the stress by providing aggressive representation at a reasonable rate.
