Words cannot express my gratitude for Janis and her staff. She did an outstanding job representing me during my divorce. I had reached out to a couple of other firms prior to meeting Janis and felt very uncomfortable. She was welcoming, receptive, and made me feel safe ... and most importantly heard when I expressed my desire to walk through this process as peacefully as possible. She was thorough, compassionate, quick in responding to emails and very clear in answering my questions. Janis met all my expectations and timelines. I am so glad that I found her and highly recommend her.

Was GAL for child. Spoke to child 3 times in 2 years. Completely bias, rude, spiteful and vindictive. Plays games with people's lives and is only interested in how much money she can make by antagonizing the parties to keep the feud going. Does not care about the best interest of the child. Would NOT recommend ever!

Horrible. Never prepared. Learning about the case in court. Never returns calls. Disorganized. Fairly inexpensive and does appear to care, but it gets hidden by her communication.

Attorney Laliberte was GAL for my child. I felt she was kind and there was open communication during my case. It was clear she cares deeply about the best interest of the children.

Ms Laliberte does not return phone calls whether from a fellow lawyer or someone who has called several times to request she contact her client regarding a court order that has been ignored and is now in contempt. Apparently Ms Laliberte doesn't give a rat's a** about what is just and right or what the judge has stated her client MUST do. It's rather like giving the judicial system the bird.
