I have known Eddie Simonet for over twenty years. I am very familiar with his professional and personal life. He is an outstanding individual. I will mention that I am familiar with the divorce situation resulting in the previous negative comment. I know the “estranged husband” and am aware of the mess he is in. He has been dealing with a mentally unstable soon to be ex-spouse who has had numerous mental health episodes, resulting in the jeopardy of at least one professional license. Numerous police incident reports will confirm that she is not rowing with both oars in the water and has a very explosive and erratic personality. The child definitely has special needs and the woman’s psychological condition creates a dangerous environment. I seriously doubt it is an amicable divorce. Do not give any credit to the previous review. Eddie is well-respected throughout the eastern Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. If you have a criminal or family law issue, Eddie is a good choice.

Mr. Simonet is an elderly gentleman and old school lawyer obtained by my estranged husband. He failed to respond to my dissolution petition and had to be reminded by my attorney. He then tried to circumvent the legal process by skipping over the initial ICMC. Although my husband and I are trying to have an amicable divorce Mr. Simonet emailed my attorney with accusation that were not substantiated about my ability to parent although we have already agreed to share custody 50/50. He then referred to my son as special needs and questioned my ability to care for him which was completely inappropriate. He then threatened a TRO. He is aggressive and unprofessional. Be warned.
