Worst attorney ever! When I'd call him he could never remember me or the details of the case. Several times he didn't even show up for court and made a lot of excuses. He lied about several things about my case. He gave me his cell phone number and when I called him he got very angry with me. He is very unprofessional. I eventually had to hire another attorney.

In trial, he's very good; but, at handling all the mundane details of pre-trial, including possible plea-bargaining he can be frustrating to deal with. If he wants to be, he's one of the best, but getting him to do it is the hard part sometimes. Take your chances, many other lawyers are not much better, or worse.

Mr. Spurrell is a no nonsense, top of the line attorney who actually listens to his clients and responds to calls, emails, etc., in a timely manner. He is one of the best attorneys I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in Tennessee. He is willing to help out my daughter in a case that isn't even his specialty and is probably frivolous to him but very important to us. When hearing him at court he absolutely knew what the right thing to do and say was. Looking forward to the next court date and, eventually, the ending of my daughter's case.

He seemed very distracted and couldnt seem to keep the case straight. I would not recommend him
