I feel like Mike is very knowledgeable about real estate law. He was handling liens and foreclosures for my HOA, but I guess they got overwhelmed by the housing collapse because they totally dropped the ball; Mike's office would file the lien, negotiate payment plans, and then in the 90% of cases where the payment plan wasn't followed by the home owner, Mike's office ignored the account and stopped trying to collect. After a year of letting the non-performing accounts pile up, we asked why, and one of Mike's secretaries blamed our HOA for not proactively requesting that Mike's office stay on top of the past-due accounts.
