Richard actually had to retain co-counsel to help him with the case which also charged me. results were awful would have done better without his representation. Angry hostile and confrontational towards his clients even the judge told him off a few times. Do not recommend.

Richard Kent is the best attorney in CT by far. He has represented 3 of my family members in their divorces, and I would highly recommend him. He is extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. He really pushes to make sure that he gets the best he can for his clients, and is extremely professional. He leaves no stone left unturned.

Richard Kent has good knowledge of the law. Unfortunately, he is the worst communicator I have ever dealt with, and routinely answered my questions with deliberate non answers. He showed tenacity, but it seemed solely for the purpose of bringing in more fees for himself. His work quality is poor, and he misses important details. In my case, he missed a $100,000 error. Richard has a huge ego, and uses a bully mentality to beat clients into submission. He is not a team player and is not open to ideas offered by his client. He is neither supportive nor trustworthy. Richard Kent greatly added to the stress of my divorce.

Totally ineffective dealing with opposing counsel. Counter-productive during settlement discussions. Did little to no actual work and totally incapable of understanding my financial circumstances. Was rude and I found myself having to play to his giant ego until I finally fired him. But... he was great at sending emails and over billing billing for them.

Unethical and Unprofessional! Made me do my own paper work and never went to court. When I disagreed with his proposed agreement. He became outraged and began to insult me. He's a bully and a bad person. He money hungry and driven by $$

I have seen Attorney Kent in action in court and I have not observbed a lawyer in Ct with more knowledge of the law or ability to persuade a judge of his position.
