Click to report rating    5/25/19   1     2     1     2     1   I completely agree with the other review for Eric Epstein's services as an aribtrator. We used him a while back, and we found him to favor the employer, regardless of the law, seemingly pretending to not know the law if it favored the employer (which he would attempt to rectify if pointed out), not particularly knowledgable, and definitely felt he tried to keep the case going in an effort to earn more fees/income for himself. While he does favor the employer, he will try to split the baby regardless of the facts and law, if the employee's side is putting up a fight. RID: 211513
Click to report rating    8/15/14   2     2     2     1     1   As an employment arbitrator he does not appear to be that well informed, although he does seem to be willing to sometimes correct/admit to/rectify his mistakes if you bring it to his attention - I think if you are offering your services as a specialized arbitrator you should be generally informed about certain issues at a minimum. Also it seems that he will try to split the baby in keeping all parties happy (even where one side is clearly 100% supported by the law, and the other side is 100% not). It also seems that he tries to keep a case going longer than necessary in arbitration, seemingly so that he can earn more arbitration fees. RID: 141825
