David R. Draper claims to be a 1st amendment lawyer but in practice he does not back it up. He said in his closing argument that my protesting and documenting of a business making noise of over 80 decibels (saying "boycott nestle" at under 65 decibels) was in fact noise. I had been peacefully protesting and documenting a business creating a disturbance but he made it sound like I was just simply upset. The judge condemned him for not objecting to the way the charges were written. He does not return phone calls. He shows up late for court. The day of the trial he was more concerned about a $400,000 facilitation case than mine. In my humble opinion I made a huge mistake retaining David R. Draper. He does not know the time limits for a criminal appeal. DO NOT RETAIN DAVID R. DRAPER for your lawyer in Michigan. If you don't think 1st amendment free speech is noise then DO NOT RETAIN David R. Draper because he stated on record that he does. Once again, DO NOT RETAIN DAVID R. DRAPER.
