I totally agree with your opinion she's not to be trusted. The first impression I must say Donna is very personable but after a 5,000 retainer to represent me in a "split everything down the middle dissolution" she wants to postpone because shes not happy with the Judge assigned so I found another attorney and 3 months later I am still getting email excuses of why she can't return what should be a majority of the retainer (and making up more billings) there are excuses of somehow computer problems everytime you contact her. Responding to a dissolution is hard enough when you're not left with much money but when this person makes life so much more difficult by dragging it out and justifying taking your funds because you don't trust her is even more agonizing.

BUYERS BEWARE!! Hard to explain in only 1000 characters! I found the experience of working with Donna Jewitt, of the Law Office of Donna Farar Jewett, PLLC very frustrating to say the least, and she ripped me off for at least $200.00. The only occasion I can remember things going smoothly were our first meeting. From there, things went quickly downhill. When I received the statement showing my initial $800.00 had been used up in 1.5 hours (she charges $300.00/hour), I called just to see what had happened. I wasn't upset or angry; I just figured some mistake had been made. Donna's assistant Kathy answered, and proceeded to be abrupt and rude, saying something about being charged a flat fee. After a couple of days and a couple of calls with Kathy not going anywhere, I finally was able to speak with Donna. Donna coldly told me that I needed to deal with Kathy on billing issues, and Kathy had authority to make decisions. I was once again treated badly and rudely by Donna herself.
