I'm going to second a comment here that stated that he's lazy and doesn't care about the children in the cases he works. He does decide early on who he's going to support and he's extremely unprofessional in his investigation. Avoid at all costs.

I would absolutely recommend Steve. I wish I had had his services when I first had my divorce. They gave me back the fair treatment that I was robbed of years ago. I wish I had found them sooner. Thank you Steve and your team!

I feel Mr. Hale has lost his way and no longer practices to protect child. He gets a case and decides early on who he’s going to support and it’s not the child. In this case he accused the father or wrong doings but when the mother was doing similar or more heinous things he assisted her and made the child go back to her even when the child asked not to. He showed clear favoritism and sexism through the entire case and showed no moral guidance! If your male and needing assitance I would steer clear of this man.

Great GAL. Can spot an unstable parent from a mile away. Lot of sour grapes posted below. Maybe one should focus on what's best for kids rather than their own pocketbooks.

Mr. Hale is not efficient nor ethical. He will call multiple meetings to charge you and not solve a single thing. He will simply choose whome he wishes to listen to and take that persons side regardless of what the facts state. The other parent in this case is facing incarceration and yet he still chooses to believe eveyrhting that person says. Mr. Hale clearly does not care what is best for any child.

terrible representation he was assigned to my case and he has even billed me for things he did not do. watch you bills! make sure documents do get filed on your case. he does not do what is best for the children.

I used him for a divorce and he did exactly what the other side wanted him to do which is give me poor representation.

Hale is extremely biased in his GAL reports- offering little to no basis for his recommendations. His recall of events and fact is severely impaired to a point so extreme my counsel mused he was either 1. Very forgetful or 2. Had been paid by apposing council. I would NOT recommend him as a GAL. He is not thorough nor are his reports complete, and in our case, he had actually transposed facts from each party onto the other one. Your bill will not be lacking!
