She would not reply to opposing attorney emails or phone calls nor would she respond to her own client. Her client rec'd an offer before the divorce was filed & showed her attorney who said the offer was fair if the assets/income were accurate. Discovery was completed on time but she wouldn't even look at the records. After the court ordered mediation, she would not schedule it even when opposing client offered to pay for it. She dragged the case out to trial and her client received an award by the court $70,000 less than the original offer. I'm not upset at all at the courts decision at trial, but this never should have gone to court. Her client paid a steep price and the attorney billed more for dragging it out. There is no way this was in the best interest of the client. It was only in the best interest for her as she billed in excess of 22k. Her client got 70k less than the original offer and she got 22k. Unfortunately, the court rewards this bad behavior & the client loses.
