It is indeed hard to communicate with a lawyer who does not listen to her client but acts like a big bully. I imagine Jan must know the law, but in my case she did nothing to enforce it, but ran up humongous bills and seemed to care little about my domestic violence rights and the law. It is impossible to communicate with her because she was not updated on my case, would not listen and yelled at everyone. She presents herself as an advocate for abused women, but she could not care less. Should not an attorney exhibit some professionalism and self- control? I have since found out from her colleagues that she is known for this, and I am still suffering after dealing with Jan Bernstein. Beware.
