This guy is a joke. Go with anyone else, stay away! He does not care about his clients one bit! He'll tell you what you want to hear, then just do whatever he wants after you've paid him. I'm screwed because of Ray yackel's ineptness. Don't make the same mistake I did. hire an attorney who actually gives a crap about you and your case. Ray isn't that guy, trust me.

I hired Ray to represent me during a divorce proceeding after consulting/interviewing 2 other attorneys. Ray came highly recommended not only by fellow lawyers, but also by a counselor that I was seeing. I believe that Ray got me the BEST result possible for my case. If you are needy with communications, Ray is not your guy. He is straight forward and no nonsense. He can be difficult to get in touch with, but I took that as a good sign that he was busy. When it is time to get down to business, Ray knocks it out of the park. He was focused and very well prepared the day of my hearing. Another plus, he doesn't charge against your retainer for petty things like phone calls and e-mails like some lawyers do. Ray will ask you to do your homework as well, but if you get him the info to work with, he will not disappoint.

I paid Raymond Yackel $10,000 (my life savings) to represent me in a conspiracy charge. I had nothing to do with any sort of criminal activity at all, so I assumed if I paid enough for a lawyer I would easily be acquitted. After taking my money he basically refused to take the case to court and convinced me my only option was to take a plea bargain, which I have regretted every day since. He got me what I would consider an average deal and explained I would be able to get it expunged off my record. Recently, after 6 phone calls to his office, I asked Ray about my getting an expungement. In the rudest way possible he explained it would cost me another 1000 dollars for his help. If you would like to employ a overpaid, condescending, lazy, thief Raymond Yackel is your man. Everyday of my life I regret my decision to go with Ray.
