Horrible attorney if that's what she calls herself. Same as other complaints. Continues court. Drags out. Has secretary constantly making excuses for her yet she never calls back like she said she would or be available for meetings. Very useless for hire.

Ms. Fawell informed me of a ruling from the judge on 60% (ex) / 40% (me) split for college expenses. She felt we could do better since I am unemployed and my ex makes about $350K. Months of scanning many financial documents with no explanation as to why, and thousands of dollars in delays/continuances. Upon trial, anything I brought up as supporting facts was treated as petty and it felt that she sided with my ex and his much more competent attorney. It was ruled 55% (ex) and 45% (me) contribution toward college expenses. Didn't work out so well. Steer clear!! I agree her office administrator is not the most friendly or client service oriented. She made excuses often.

I found Ms. Fawell’s services severely lacking in:
1. Quality – never explained the overall divorce process after I repeatedly asked her to; didn’t seem to know the answers to some direct & easy questions that she should know, demonstrated the worst negotiating skills I have ever witnessed during a 4-way meeting with my ex-wife and her competent attorney, and again during negotiations prior to Prove Up, etc.)
2. Timeliness – asked for documents by a certain date but was repeatedly told no she couldn’t do it by then; made promises to have things completed by a certain date that she failed to keep; simple wording changes in documents took a week since she doesn’t type or use a computer; etc.
3. Accuracy – I had to essentially write and revise my own MSA myself under tight timelines created by her procrastination, found an $8K typo in my ex-wife’s favor in a number I had calculated and given to her – this is incompetence, plain and simple
Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Ms. Faw

She is clueless, does not communicate, assistants lie to cover for her, when push comes to shove she quits. She has poor courtroom skills, Seemed like a nice person when I interviewed her, gosh I made a huge mistake hiring her, it cost me tens of thousands of dollars.

Hired her for a divorce. What a waste of money.had to repeatedly call to talk to her and her secretary would make excuses like shes in court and I'll give her the message you called. Im three months I only had two 15 minute phone calls with her and the last oone she said she would get a hold of my wifes lawyer and get back to me. Well after three weeks and no contact i fired her and it cost me money to have her withdraw from the case. still haven't seen any of my retainer yet. Don't waste your money.

Paid my retainer and didn't hear anything from her for months, despite repeated phone calls. Months later she finally drafted a letter on my behalf (when I threatened to fire her) which she never followed up on. I left messages for her repeatedly and even sent letters to which she did not reply - even once.
