Judi is representing me in the past. She is never once let me down. Matter of fact, I got served papers Friday this past Friday afternoon after 3 PM. She knew a little about what was going on cause I’d let her know by text. How about she have mine and my son’s papers to go to emergency hearing ready by yesterday before 2:00 PM. So she can file it with the judge. She has pulled for me once again. I haven’t given her any money, but she knows I’m good for it. I think she’s bad ass.

Honestly she is not worth the money you will spend. She had plenty of opportunity to file contempt charges on the other party, but did not. After $10k+ in legal fees, I settled out of court.

She is a scam artist. She should not be practicing law. My plan is to leave a negative review on every site about her because she is just that bad! She stole my money and did not represent me. Avoids calls, text, and tries to bill for EVERYTHING inappropriately. This woman billed me for speaking to her receptionist about my frustration. I fired her and lost my money and I’d do it again because she doesn’t care about her clients and had no clue about my case.

This lawyer only wants your money. My fist meeting with her she promised me a solid win, and I was foolish enough to believe her. She did not show up for court dates, when she did she was late and unprepared. She even showed up with another one of her clients paperwork instead of mine. She failed to answer any forms of communication, and she did not notify me of an upcoming court date so I was found in contempt. She made sure she was prompt with sending me her numerous bills for 10,000 after she had gotten 4,000 already for nothing, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN

So just to start off, if negative points could be given here they certainly would be. So my wife initially approached Mrs. Barnett for a divorce on the advice of some friends. She came highly recommended so unfortunately and foolishly my wife did no further research on this attorney. Had she, she would have quickly seen Mrs. Barnett had received a public reprimand in 2017 and is consistently rated 2.7 – 2.8 out of 5 across many lawyer rating sites. Mrs. Barnett accepted a $2500.00 retainer (which was cashed the next day) – without ANY contract being signed, ANY explanation of how she would be billed and to date has never received any kind of statement from her. In the end she "represented" my wife for her first DUI and failed miserably only getting $200.00 off the maximum fine. Everything else was maxed out. She had no clue on applicable laws and penalties and to date we still have not received any explanation of what happened to the retainer...

The first visit I had with her she told me that she would win our case there was no doubt. So after almost a year of going through everything we try to settle and she tells me that she needs to wait on something and once that comes back she then won't return my phone calls or emails. I wasted almost $4000 and now am having to file bankruptcy for something if she would have just been honest and told me she wasn't the best fit for this case then I would have went somewhere else. I think she just took the case just to take our money, which is horrible. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone now. I thought she was the greatest thing when we first started and very helpful but its like once it gets hard she is done working.

I was told one thing on my initial consultation then things changed completely down the road. Couldn't get responses to messages and the last message received from her office was the snarkiest, ****iest thing you can imagine! I'm shocked that anyone claiming to be a professional would behave in such a manner. I'm out nearly $500 with nothing to show for it! Save your money - go somewhere else!

Judy and her staff always take the time to answer any questions that I have. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of an attorney of any kind. She is a very smart woman and really fights for her clients.

This lawyer was very unprepared and wasted time and money. She was a huge let down. She never made time to contact or see her client. She didn't even attend the clients court hearing nor did she even file the right complaint for the court hearing. This lawyer doesn't seem to have the clients best interest at heart. I felt very hurt and used and as if my case was unimportant. I wouldn't trust her again. I do not intend to defamate her as a person. My only interest is to save another persons devastation.
