Saying that Mr. Labow's fees are excessive is an understatement, and the following facts will clearly support this review.
His first invoice was over $10K, which included only one deliverable, filing the "intend to defend".
We have agreed on a 3-months payment plan back in February 2020, and then Covid hits. We had to close our business.
We emailed Mr. Labow asking the following (excerpt from the email):
"The world is going through unprecedented circumstances that require unprecedented measures.
With that in mind we’re asking humbly our vendors and creditors to hold on our financial obligations until we can reopen the clinic and renew our cash flow."
Excerpt from Mr. Labow’s reply email:
"If I do not receive your payments, I will e-file the judgement and take steps to execute, including post-judgement interest, legal and bailiff fees and all other costs – to the full extent the law allows"
In addition he has kept our original documentation, which he claims is his privilege.

Better off setting your money on fire than using Mr.Labow

This lawyer will make you believe your claim is worth more than it is to get your business, then deny doing so after you have signed his contract and provided your retainer. He also does not provide regular invoicing, and will send you a lump sum invoice (overcharging) with no details of time spent. Please beware.
