gave this attorney a case several years ago involving a funeral home that allowed my brothers body to be abused by a unlicensed medical examiner in Tennessee and He had his license revoked in Alabama and Florida. His findings were incomplete and we had to exhumed a second time to find answers. The funeral home was negligent in re burring our brother. He was unclothed and there was water in the vault due to not properly securing the vault lid. the vault company gave us a new for vault and stated if original lid had been properly sealed water would not have gotten in. Our brother also had a skull fracture which happend due to examiner using a chain saw to open skull and knocking our brothers body off table. Our family was suing the funeral home for abuse and neglect. Going through two exhumations was tramatic to our family and we paid several thousand dollars for first autopsy.The atorney let this fall through the cracks.we called him numerous times each time all was going well .

This attorney is a crook. He leaves his clients to do the leg work, runs up his fees and seems to represent the opponent rather than his client. I would stay far way.

Chris will tell you everything you want to hear to get you to write that retainer check. Soon after you write the check you find out he's nothing but a lazy lying lawyer. It took me less than a month to figure it out. Fired him after he did something he told me he wasn't going to do. He also informed that my retainer is nonrefundable which is what horrible lawyers do to make money. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER HE TOOK $1,900 KNOWING HE COULD NOT HELP ME UNTIL THE OTHER PARTY WAS RELEASED FROM PRISON. HE LIED TO ME AND CHARGE ME ANYTIME I E-MAILED HIS PARALEGAL OR CALLED HIS OFFICE WHICH WAS NEVER STATED IN HIS CONTRACT. BEWARE CRIS HELTON IS ONLY GOOD FOR SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY... All of these reviews are accurate. He is vastly overpriced and once he has your money you will not hear from him anymore. All communication will be through the paralegal and good luck getting ahold of her. Every email, phone call and letter will be billed to you even if they don't respond. I marked his knowledge and tenacity as 3's because I simply don't know, haven't talked to him enough to judge those. $6000 later and have talked to him once in 8 months, even then he was very dismissive.

This man lied, didn't do anything that he said that we would. He didn't even take the proof that I had. And I'm having to pay for what I shouldnt. He is only out for money, I thought he was a fighter since his a judge in east ridge tn. He won't even answer his phone for my questions. I wish I read the reviews before hiring him.

He is horrible. I paid money for him to hit on me. It's ridiculous that anyone who is a judge would act that way. My case was dismissed but he has still failed to have it expunged from my record

Used him for a divorce and all I can say is NOBODY needs to use this attorney and I mean NOBODY. Every time you talk to him its like the first time he has heard about your case. He does not take interest unless it's to for you to pay. During the deposition he took no notes and did not even ask the questions we discussed. Don't waste your time or money with him cause its pointless.

Horrible. Under the advice of another attorney, I paid Chris Helton 5 figures to hire me in a criminal matter. All he did was receive emails from the DA and tell me to accept the state's offer..... oh yes....and delay, delay, delay. Did absolutely nothing to prepare for trial, because he was "almost positive" I "would be convicted." Thank God he dropped me after helping the sheriff's office locate me minutes after I allegedly committed an additional crime. I was located 3 hours away from the alleged crime scene! He refused to refund any of my money. He never returned calls or emails. He keeps phone mailbox was always full. I was represented in trial by another attorney, and I beat all felony charges. Don't hire this guy! Garbage!

This lawyer lied about what he was going to do for my sick mother and how much he was going to charge her. She paid amount in full that was asked up front and he promised no more. Now he is sending her a bill with interest. This man is a crook and a felon. If you look online you can find his mug shot.

Go to this website it will tell you of his character, too bad we didnt see it until we are out 4k and NO contact from his office in almost 2months.
