Used her services for divorce paperwork ONLY (that was the mandate we both gave her). She turned the exercise into an unwanted mediation and took more time (we intended to use 2-3 hrs max, took more than double, caused disputes. Her involvement ended us having a bad divorce, affecting us and the kids and ended up anyways on the exact same terms we both had agreed to before meeting her... She also showed partiality for the woman and categorized the husband (me) with stereotypes even before we could describe ourselves. I definitely DO NOT recommend. My ex-wife would also agree!

This is one of the best family law lawyers in Laval. She is very much implicated in her field (chronicle in the paper & implicated in several other causes). Her 29 years experience doesn't come cheap, but according to me, her services are well worth the fee. As soon as you meet Me Brigitte Gauthier, it is clear she knows her stuff! She is a very dynamic lawyer and understands clearly what her clients needs are. I felt she was very fair and that my best interests were VERY well protected. I was quite impressed that Me Gauthier's firm ALWAYS worked in a manor that was to keep the fee's I would have to pay to a minimum...I would most definitely recommend her in a situation where the EX spouse in uncooperative and even deceiving. She WILL get to truth and fast!
