I retained Mr. Stein to represent me on a case. He did not give me confidence in his abilities. He took my money and made one appearance for me. I have sent him numerous emails to return my retainer. I would not recommend him. In my opinion you are wasting your money if you hire him.

Used him in the early 2000s. He was a really good attorney for me. He is a little eccentric but very knowledgeable.

Has been my lawyer since I was seventeen and he has been great. I still don't have a criminal background. I love this guy very down to earth very wise.

Brett Stein does not listen to his clients. He basically does what he wants to do and makes you feel as though he is working against you He over talks you, and will discuss your case over the phone while incarcerated after he tells you not to(lack of confidentiality). He is incompetent,unorganized, out of date on his skills and current information about the law,and a mister know it all. He simply needs to retire. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. Do not give him your money! He will get you life in prison!
