Hired Mr. Collopy to represent my daughter in a child protective case. In less than (2) months he used up $ 5,000.00. Made two court appearences, and two CYFD appearences. He refused after being questioned as to why he did not appear at one of the scheduled CYFD family hearings, it was found that he had taken off on vacation. After that he would not take phone calls from myself or my daughter. I was able to convince another attorney to represent my daughter on her case Pro Bono. This atty now states he is still representing my daughter. The other atty is atty of record. He states that because he itemized how he spent the money, then he is safe from any arbitration or disciplinary action. This man cannot tell the truth as evidenced by his response to the client protection fund. He states my daughter is still being represented by him which is an out right fallacy. Why would he be representing my daughter if he has no records as they were all given to the other atty.

Brian in no way fought for me. When I had questions for him I could never get ahold of him and he would never return my phone calls.
