I don't know how this guy passed the bar - completely lost with bankruptcies. He is rude and condescending. I referred him a client for bankruptcy which he completely messed. My client found another local attorney to complete their bankruptcy in time. I would avoid him at all cost. He has been disciplined for inappropriate conduct (google him and stay away)

We had an extremely difficult case in the bankruptcy court. It was scary and Mr. Berman along with his capable staff put us right at ease and held our hands through the entire process. I would definitely recommend him for bankruptcy.

JOHN BERMAN HAS BEEN SUSPENDED BY THE COLORADO SUPREME COURT. Colorado Supreme Court No. 11PDJ078. People v. Berman. 05/11/2012. Attorney Suspended. The PDJ approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended John A. Berman, attorney registration number 06695, for nine months, all stayed pending the successful completion of a two-year period of probation with conditions. The suspension was effective May 11, 2012. Berman represented a female client in a bankruptcy matter. Berman's client was dissolving her marriage, and the bankruptcy filing needed to be completed before her divorce could be finalized. During this representation, Berman touched his client without her consent or permission in a manner she found offensive. [fondled her breast and tried to kiss her] This action, coupled with a comment Berman made about the client's appearance, caused her emotional discomfort and violated her trust in Berman as her attorney. This guy doesn't have a clue about probate matters and refuses to return E-mails. I continually had to ask the Court to Compel him to produce records and the opening and closing balances on consecutive conservator reports never matched and funds were always misplaced and missing. He absolutely refused to provide an invoice of his work and finally had to ask the Court to Compel him to provide that also. An example of his work product was a value of $138 (that's one hundred and thirty eight dollars.) that he placed on 377 acres that the County Assessor valued at $592,000. He was only off by $591,000.
