While preparing a legal document for us it was constantly necessary to correct and RE-correct her drafts, sometimes making the same corrections to the same errors repeated as often as ten times. Her attention to this was atrocious but that didn't stop her from billing excessively for the time made necessary by her failure to pay attention to detail. The worst was, though, when she said flat out said that she preferred not to aggressively pursue our matter with our opponents' attorney because he was a big shot and she hoped to obtain work with him in the future. This is the kind of thing that should have been reported to the bar association, but we were so apprehensive about her screwing things up worse that we said nothing.
