Mr. Mitch Abdallah represented us and helped us save our house from foreclosure. He is the best attorney for the job! He was able to obtain a successful loan modification for us. RUN FROM HIM AS FAST AS YOU CAN, & HIS BROTHER RICHARD TOO!!! They took a retainer of nearly $8,000 to protect me from forclosure and eviction. Promised to represent me in court to oppose a demure, but cashed my check, then said they were too busy using my retainer to move to nicer offices, didn't show up in court, so judge ruled against me, with prejudice!!! They were also supposed to protect me from eviction if it came to that. Because of their gross negligence and malpractice, it came to that!!! I was evicted from my home of 33 years!!! ANd they refused to do anything for me, even told me not to bother calling them, & they would charge me $100 per phone call, even if it was a 30 second message! They never called me (I still have same phone #), & I never never received an accounting, & could never find ANYTHING filed!They just took my money & ran! Read through all these comments, & see the common pattern 2 almost all of them! Hold on tight 2 your check Book & run 4 your life!

I paid him 10,000 dollars to keep my home from being foreclosed and auctioned . He told me not to lose sleep and he would file a bankruptcy 13. Not only did I lose my home, but then Mitch tried to file the bankruptcy13 after the house was sold at auction. He promised me I was still ok and he needed a refresher deposit . Less than a month later I got an eviction notice. Took complete advantage of me. Filed late ,no return calls , and then tells me I owe him money. Short and sweet, he took the 10 grand and called 3 times total nothing was filed and no bankruptcy done and they won't refund a single dime of my money. Good luck to who ever depends on this man or this law firm. I have nothing to show for $10k except the receipts and the messages he left after I told him I was done . His apology was'nt ever worth a dollar,

I hired the Abdallah Law Group to handle my bankruptcy & foreclosure case. When I initially hired them, they assured me they were both knowledgeable and would be attentive to my case, they were neither. They were way in over their heads and file everything late, which causes the judge to deny any motions they do get right. I also never received any accounting report.

After giving him $5000 to file a deed in lieu of foreclosure,, he did nothing about the case until a week before the scheduled foreclosure sale. At that point the bank said it was to late and denied the claim. Lost my home to foreclosure because even though I gave him money upfront four months in advance, he took no action. He refuses to send me my file or an accounting of services provided. Beware of this guy.

I hired mr. abdallah in august, 2011. first the initial cousultation was 20 min. and $450. He said he could help me with my real estate situation. He laid out a plan. I paid him another $4500 retainer fee. a week later, an associate called me and said he was taking over the case. the man was very unprofessional. i told mr. abdallah that i did not trust the gentleman who had only received his law degree 2 months earlier. Mr. abdallah assured me that he would be on top of my case and that this associate was just getting the case prepared and that he would negotiate with the bank. I had delivered all documents requested in mid august. In mid september, i heard nothing from abdallah law and when i called i was told that the bank had been contacted and my case was progressing. another month went by and i heard nothing. i called again and was told that i needed to have a conference call in three days with this associate and abdallah. Beware of this attorney. We went through arbitration, which ruled in our favor for some of our money to be returned to us. We received a check for the settlement amount from his law office. The check bounced and we have not received our money yet. We lost a large sum of money dealing with this person and his law firm.

Beware! Abdallah gained my confidence and virtually did nothing on my case. I paid him $4,000 to file suit a year ago and he sat on my case until I made several phone calls and finally showed up in person to demand my money back. He was available to talk when I had a check in my hand, but after that he passed my calls to his paralegal and had nothing to say. His frequent office relocation tells me he is cash strapped. I think my money went to his wardrobe because the court's website shows him being sanctioned for failing to maintain my lawsuit. Now I have to sue him for taking my money and get another lawyer to take over my case.

We hired this firm 2 years ago and have been extremely dissatisfied with the lack of progress. We were told things such as serving notice will be done in 2 weeks, only to find out they still hadn't served after 2 months. We were informed in writing that their firm would provide "a letter detailing the status of our case, as well as all progress made..." We have never received ONE piece of mail regarding this, ever! The only thing consistently we've received is a non detailed bill wanting money. After paying over $5000. and over 2 years we haven't even got our time in a court room to try to get back money from a property deal rip off. We have fired this firm and of course they want an additional, almost $6000. they say they have earned. I would highly recommend going to anyone but them. The real danger is they are personable and likable which can draw your guards down. Beware of them, they do not deliver on any commitments and they charge a lot of money for that privilege.
