My divorce was NOT a complicated one...Ms. Kay prolonged this through doing NOTHING for 4 months after I had retained her services, until I questioned what was happening in my case. She "lost" my documents three different times and then complained when I started sending her documents by registered mail, as she had to go to the post office to pick them up! She stated she received my paperwork although it was sent back to me unopened by the Post Office! Any written communications were confusing and often contradictory. She did not know the Court procedure resulting in my being billed for waiting most of the morning to be seen by the judge. At our final appearance with the judge, the divorce document was so badly written that the judge showed great annoyance with her...and again we had to step aside while she re-wrote the document. I was billed, of course, for her lack of preparation and knowledge...I would NEVER recommend using this attorney. She is EXPENSIVE and very unprofessional.
