Deb was concerned with money, not our 3 sons (then 2,4,6). I wanted to ensure the care, safety, and best interest of our sons. Deb just wanted to make it a nasty, long divorce. She called my ex's attorney in front of me to show me how crazy that attorney was for spending so much time on the phone and billing hours. All I thought was that Deb was doing the same thing, solving nothing while billing hours and keeping me in her office listening to the 2 of them banter. Cutting to the summary, I got my wife to enter mediation and agree to sell the large marital home. Deb complained to me and told me that I would have to sign a document stating that she recommended against it. I agreed but never saw it. In mediation, while negotiating, I learned from my wife that Deb had fired me as a client. I was in a terrible negotiating position without an attorney to review the mediated agreement. Deb withdrew without ever alerting me. I never got a phone call, mail, or any message.
