Would never hire her again, she is horrible to deal with. Loves to fight over ridiculous issues. No interest in settling issues, only wants to litigate. Read she was a dispute resolution officer, what a joke.

Getting divorced is stressful and time consuming as it is. Finding an amazing lawyer like Tami to get you through this transition in life is a Godsend. She is so professional and diligent. I felt the professionalism with all her colleagues too. They have been working together for many years and I felt very comfortable dealing with Tami and everyone in the office. I don't wish divorce on anyone but if you find yourself in this situation, go see Tami I have referred people to her and will continue to refer people to her because my transition to the new chapter in my life was done with professionalism and ethics. :) Nick S

Don’t waste your time and money! Any positive reviews were written by herself or her staff. She looks for ways to deceive the system to try to put you in an advantageous position however it will back fire on you. Fabricating lies is what she does thinking it will hel you but doesn’t.

Tami is a superb lawyer. I found her to be very knowledgeable and strategic in her thinking. I felt that she was really an advocate and obtained excellent results. Tami's billings were fair and I felt that she gave lots of value. I highly recommend Tami, she is a true professional.

Tami Waters is a diligent, respectful, meticulous and organized professional. She doesn't tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. I really don't understand the negative comments about Ms. Waters. She is a wonderful lawyer, straight shooter and very well respected around the courthouse when I asked about her. I'm not sure what all this talk about staff turnover is - her assistant Carol has been with her for years and is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this lawyer. She got great results for me in family court.

I spoke to Tami for a problem at the worst time of my life . She was always on vacation . Did not seem interested to be in the office to help me and made feel more hopeless than I Fahd felt before . I left the office and found another lawyer who wants to help with my situation . I do not recommend Tami she s useless .

I wish I had read the reviews on this site before hiring her because they are so true. She makes promises, then doesn't get stuff done. She lied about even starting my agreement numerous times. I got stories about how she didn't get an email etc. I should have been wary when she told me in our consultation that a client had reported her to the Bar Association. She laughed it off but I should have realized that was a sign.

At a time of practical and emotional turmoil in your personal life, Tami Waters is the Family Law professional you need in your corner. I have used TLW Law for my Family Law issues and would highly recommend you do the same. In addition to her credentials and experience in Family Law, Tami also brings a business degree to the table which I found invaluable in deciphering all the financial input and analysis required for Family Law matters. But Tami's biggest attribute is her ability to think outside the box, often finding nuances that result in more advantageous agreements and solutions. The support staff at TLW Law are exceptionally competent and are critical components to expediting fair and enduring solutions with a care and concern not often associated with the legal community. Tami has my highest recommendation.

I used Tami L. Waters & Associates for my separation and divorce.Tami's financial knowledge was very helpful in unravelling my partner's self-employed finances. Her support staff are seasoned, senior clerks who are professional, courteous and extremely helpful-they assist with making the process easier and reduce stress. All documents from the initial financial statement, the net family property analysis, the drafting of the separation agreement and the completion of the divorce at the courts were done in a timely manner and allowed for me to move through the process with confidence. Also-she had an excellent rapport with the other lawyer and court staff which seemed to assist. I highly recommend Tami!!!!

I went to Tami as a reference. I should of researched better. As I was going through an abusive divorce. Her lack of time in the office, was tiring. Multiple Holidays and court filled her time. Leaving far too much for her staff. The turn over of staff is rediculous. This went on far to long eating up my savings, with nothing to show for it . I ended up replacing her . To be honest I felt taken advantage of. Not something I expected from a woman who said she was on the board of an woman's shelter in durham. . i should of checked her referances. 2 years and she never used case law to help me. My new lawyer was concerned what she actually did . I would look elsewhere for a divorce lawyer. Maybe realestate is her thing, be prepared to pay for every minute ,,plus.!,

Seems like a nice person, but very slow in doing her work. While I was her client, there was a rapid turnover of staff -- I dealt with three law clerks. This firm has trouble keeping staff. The associate lawyer who was handling my case was a weak negotiator, and quit before my case was finalized.

Met Tami in her firm. Like many others lawyers. It is strictly business and you will be charged for every second. When it boils down to it, she truly doesn't care about your case. Just how much its worth to her. I would also agree that her receptionist is rude and echos that they are just trying to get paid.

I have never met someone so tardy in a professional environment. Every task is completed 3 to 4 times longer than quoted. Receptionist is extremely rude at times.

I have used Tami Waters regularly for advice on employment law and family law issues. Her advice has always been candid and realistic. She stuck to one case that I had long since thought was lost but she is tenacious and determined. Her practicality has saved me and my company money. She also seems to be very aware that behind the law there are people and that has helped me make choices that ultimately were beneficial to all. There have been at least two occasions where she suggested I pull back and wait till emotions were not so heated and that allowed me an opportunity to decide I was acting rashly. I highly recommend her and,in fact, I have sent family members to her and they also report back the same forthright attention, support and determination.

Ms. Waters has represented me for a number of years and has excellent knowledge of the education system of the legal and labour system. One must conduct the necessary research to fully understand what lawyers do on on a daily basis prior to any critical comments they feel.
