Represented my case and found her to be untruthful, ineffective, unprofessional, inefficient and arrogant. Has disdain for clients in general. Exploits families in matrimonial actions. Would never recommend this attorney.

Joy has too many clients and does not respond to her client's inquiry's in a timely manner. Her fees are somewhat out of proportion with her overall performance.

I came to Ms. Jorgensen by recommendation after consultations with 2 other attorneys. My experience with her and her office was nothing less than positive from the consultation through my final divorce. She is extremely knowledgable on NYS divorce law and was able to answer my legal and financial questions with confidence and without hesitation. She gave me the confidence and conviction I needed to go forward and pursue an agreement that was fair and equitable for me and my child. Her fees were very reasonable as lawyers go and her ability to immediately hone in on what needed to be completed and presented the first time around saved countless hours of legal time in court.

DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!!! Rude, arrogant, and I believe she is a miserable person and wants to see everyone as miserable as she is. Tells you everything you want to hear during initial consultation, after that she ignors you. Just wants your money and I get nothing but ridiculous bills all the time, for no representation.
