Ms. Baron is efficient, knowledgeable and professional. While primarily focused on transactional work, her experience as a general counsel gives her a leg up in identifying potential issues that purely corporate lawyers might not think about.

Rebecca is thorough, thoughtful, and patient with her clients. She is a careful listener, and has a broad understanding of her field that enables her to provide the best possible representation to her clients. I have never had such a positive experience with any lawyer before, and I refer her to my friends and family all the time.

Not sure what the deal is with the last review because Ms. Baron couldn't have been "hired" for anything in 2009, since she was working as General Counsel for a company based in NY.

I hired Mrs. Baron for legal services in 2009. Not only did Mrs. Baron prove to be less than knowledgeable in her area of "expertise", but she also charged me nearly double our original agreement. When confronted with this, she became hostile and even used profanity. I would highly recommend using caution and doing your research before you enter a contract with this lawyer. She gives all lawyers a bad name. Above all, make sure you get everything in writing (including what she quotes you for her services).
