I was encouraged to see this atty after a car accident by a DC. He said the case was worth $100-$300 settlement. Very poor communication, would not return calls, email,the case dragged that other attys said should have taken a yr. to settle, took 5 yrs. With the level of my injuries I couldn't work to capacity and my medical bills I took on destroyed my financial life because I waited so long to get any assistance. He made no appt. to meet with me prior to the settlement date just told me not to attend. On the settlement hearing day he called me stating the offer was around a few thousand and he stated to me with no prior familiarity with the case after 5 yrs.He was acting as if he was defending the ins. co. claiming that I should take it. I refused wanted to go to court. One of the partners had to get involved after this and apologized profusely. Every atty in Stam & NY I spoke to was shocked.
