Paid a $1500 retainer on 2/16/15 for proper legal work to be done. He wrote one motion which I had to correct for errors. His charge to date is $915 which is largely for him correcting his own errors that I discovered and messaged him the corrections to make. He now has canceled our agreement when I asked him for a refund or proper remedy and he now states that the retainer was NOT for legal work but in recognition for his expertise and to place my case on his calendar. I would not have donated money for his expertise as attorney per hour fees already represent that surcharge. Further, he clearly implied that his $150 per hour fee would be coming from the retainer.
