Mr. Cohen helped me settle my debt for pennies on the dollar. He contacted me immediately when I had questions. Always available. I highly recommend him.

Met with him for a "free consultation that was a total of 15 minutes and to which he was 10 minutes late showing up to. Told him we were undecided about bankruptcy but he urged us to leave a deposit of which he told us would be refundable if we did Joe proceed as no work on th case would begin until entire few was paid in full. Decided not to file so called office regarding refund. Was ignored. Emailed, was ignored, emailed again threatening to report to the bar and then finally got a curt reply. A week later, I received a letter basically denying my refund abs he cited extensive work on my case as the reason. He didn't even have any information on my case to do any work on it. Flat out lied to try and justify keeping my $. Even described the initial 15 min meeting as going far beyond the free consultation. Stay away from this crook. I will be making a formal complaint to the bar as well.

Mr. Cohen comes highly recommended. He worked with us and never pressured us to pay the balance on our bankruptcy fees until we were ready to file. It took us over a year to finish paying his fees and then within a few weeks he filed our bankruptcy and it went smoothly from start to finish. He answered all our questions and we received a discharge. Also he is the only attorney that will accept an initial retainer of only $100.00 to get started with a case. What other attorney will do that. I was very happy with him and have referred him to other people.

WAS VERY NICE & FRIENDLY AT THE BEGINNING, WAS VERY EAGER TO TAKE MY MONEY. THEN, BECAME MORE DIFFICULT TO CONTACT, KEPT ALL MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T FILE.
