My ex-wife and I used Mr.MacFarlane after attending his 2nd Saturday workshop at Mira Costa College. After listening to his initial consultation we agreed to proceed with his services. I paid an initial deposit and Robert gave us a list of information he would need to draw up our MSA. After several weeks we returned with the information and how WE wanted to structure our MSA. Mr MacFarlane agreed to structure our agreement as we requested telling us that everything was within the law. He drew up the papers, met with each of us individually so that we understood the documents written and filed all the paper work with the court on our behalf. Both my wife and I were very pleased. I was also pleased when he returned an overpayment, stating that we had not used all the deposit monies. At his 2nd Saturday seminars he tells couples that many times they will develop deep friendship after their divorces. This is true of my ex-wife and myself. I have recommended Mr MacFarlane many times.

I hope that we can catch you before you waste TIME & MONEY. This Lawyer is unbelievably slow at returning calls, charges way way too much, and needs to be reported. Mediator? I think NOT, he will absolutely show favoritism, he even sent my then wife now ex-wife a CD to help mend her "broken heart". She's the one that cheated on me. After allowing him to drag along our divorce process for over a year, I finally had to take over. Especially after I saw two other lawyers that told me he was going to have me pay her twice the law requires. Stay AWAY!!

Non-communicative, takes too long to return calls, disorganized; charges way too much for what he delivers. There are much better attorneys out there.
