we hired him as a lawyer he charged and outrageous price he got into a screaming match with me for not taking the plea he wanted me to take and then i ended up speaking to the judge myself to not have this on my record and waisted all that money paying him

I love Jim I think he is a great lawyer and recomend him to anyone that is going through legal problems and is ready to change there life when I ment Jim almost a year ago i was facing attempted murder charges and had lost my kids and was wrapped up in a world of drugs not only was i up for attempted murder I was looking at my fifth felony conviction and they wanted to give me 48 years Jim not only helped me legally he helped me turn my life around and start thinking different with in six months i got my kids back from dhs i started my own business I married a wonderful man who i am so in love with and i have been sober now almost 10 months my atempted murder charges were dropped to felony mencing and i got 3 years comcor and no prison time as of now it looks like i'll be outta comcor in 7months and Jim is filing for my reconsiteration to try and lower my time in comcor i am very thankful to Jim and Diane I still stop in and call them every chance i get even though my case is over. M.S

I have used James Dostal for various reasons in the 8 years I have known him. I have also developed a friendship with him. He is a great defense attorney and he did a fantastic job for friends that i have sent to him. He is a no nonsense, straight to the point advocate for his clients. I feel he is one of the best in his field in El Paso County and I have no hesitation in saying, if you need a good defense attorney, he is the man to call.

This man is the worst lawyer you could hire. He is a pretentious ****. Do not expect him to be in contact with you, work with haste, or even remember important facts of your case. He will talk down to you, roll his eyes and make you feel like the scum of the earth. He was unhelpful answering questions, but whenever he did he made me feel like an idiot. He is unhelpful providing outside resources (such as classes, financial help) guiding you in the right direction. He comes unprepared, even late, for court and will do anything to draw out the process. I never felt secure with him or trusted he was making a fighting effort for me. Everyone makes mistakes- just don't make the second mistake of hiring this man.
