I was listed as somebody to be contacted for a gal case regarding a friend's kids. After being told to wait for her phone call a month later we receive a phone call on a Friday while out to dinner. No reach out or looking to schedule time.
Asked if we could reschedule for a time that was more appropriate to have our full attention. Said she would try to call us back but was busy in court and never did. We reached out to her multiple times leaving your messages to call us back.
We received one return phone call again after hours. We returned her call with no call back. It's clear she was doing the minimum she could to try to connect with us. My understanding is others that were supposed to be contacted as well with the same experience. She submitted her report on the case without talking to us or others we knew. Not sure she has the best interest of the kids at heart. How she came up with the conclusion of her findings is baffling. Praying that the kids aren't in Jeopardy now.I

I agree wit the comments posted here. She is only interested in money and she has poor etiquette in the court room, and is very condescending. She has a snide ruthless attitude, and would many times laugh in the court room towards me, as if she was better than me. I am happy to see they have this website for attorneys such as Suzanne Decker who don't put the best onterest of the child as a priority but how she can lie and find a way to the judges heart in any means necessary to "win" the case whether or not its in the best interest of the child or not. Please stop supporting this woman. She is a good reason why family court is as messed up as everyone knows it to be.

Do not use GAL Decker. Her skills are poor. I don't usually post such comments in the web, but in this case I thought it was necessary considering is has to do with one's family. I have first hand observed her to be delinquent in her reports to the court and the reports submitted are unprofessional for someone of her stature. The reports are filled with bias and opinion and she does not put forth the effort of obtaining evidence such as police reports and other important items.

The co-parenting counselor read Suzanne decker report - expressed it was bias and only caused hardship for the parents. Suzanne contacted the parent to make arangements to interview the child, 3 months later Suzanne e-mailed and interview the child. To the child, this was a long waite. yes she was court ordered and expressed this was to be fast tract from the court, yes she had funds in her account, court ordered funds, Horrible attorney- yes Suzanne Decker caused the case to be extended do to faller to produce court ordered gal report. Throughout the case Suzanne Decker did not ever submit a parenting plan.
