I hired her for a divorce that was in the 1% (went to court)so I spent a great deal of money and time. She and her staff were unprofessional a couple of times: late for a scheduled meeting, comments that weren't professional in nature, attitudes that weren't helpful but judgemental. For what I paid, I expected the best, but didn't get it.

I hired Yates-Carter based on her great recommendation from the bar. She has a very skilled PR program, including Christmas parties for legal people, to get these favorable reviews. I only had modest assets I needed good representation, but I would have been far better off representing myself. Both she and the opposing attorney were very skilled at dragging out the case, maximizing their fees, 8 years for my case. In order to avoid work my ex wife was falsely claiming a brain injury. Her attorney sent Yates-Carter the paperwork stating that based on my ex's doctor’s report they were not going to pursue the brain injury claim. They reversed this and did make the claim but Yates-Carter lost the highly important letter and never contested the claim. Opposing attorney lied many times and Lynne did not counter. Bottom line, I am financially broke, my ex lives a luxurious life. Lynne had medical issues and was getting her own divorce, information not given to me.
