My wife and i have almost finished ourbankruptcy case through the Cohen Law Firm. Attorney Brian Cohen was my attorney and was very helpful and friendly and was able to answer all of our questions we had. There were a couple of situations that arose with one of our creditors and he was able to get on top of them and straighten things out fast. He knows all of the bankruptcy Court trustees very well and knows how to negotiate with them. We were told that our cars were worth too much to keep by several other attorneys, but Brian negotiated on our behalf with the trustee for our case, and we kept both cars and did not have to pay back anything! They also worked with us on making payments for their fee, and were very reasonably priced compared to others I inquired about. If you want fast and professional attorney for your bankruptcy I would recommend Cohen Law to any one who is looking. Thank you Brian and your extremely helpful staff. You all made a very tough situation much easier.

Horrible communication skills. Blames the client for his mistakes, takes no responsibility for his actions, he takes your money and provides no help. He left me in worse shape than before I sought his help. I would recommend people stay away from his bankruptcy mill. He should have lost his license with all the bar complaints against him. If you are already having financial problems, and give him your money, he will only add to the financial mess you are already experiencing.

Very nice and helpful attorney. He explained everything in a way that I could understand, and didn't judge me. His staff was also very pleasant. I would recommend this attorney to anyone who needs to file for bankruptcy.

I have been trying for over a month to get my retainer back. All I get is the run around, the office manager is out of the office, she's in the hospital, then when she returns, still no response. This firm has done zero for me and now won't give me any information or return my calls. Right after I gave them the retainer I could never get in touch with anyone to even ask questions. Just leave a message and never get a response.

Found them in the yellow pages of Ft Lauderdale. I set up the initial appointment. Met with him-very nice and understood my situation and explained everything to me. I didn't have the money at the time to file, but a year and a half later i did. Dropped all of my paperwork off at the office and was told someone would contact me in a few weeks. Didn't hear anything for 5 weeks. Kept playing phone tag with office staff. Finally after sending in the full amount due $1625 I got a response and appointment with him to file the paperwork. Had the hearing a few weeks after paperwork was filed. He was late getting to the hearing and it lasted 5 minutes. I was told it will be about 60 days and I will get a letter stating that my case is closed. I guess I felt like a number instead of an individual. Overall he did the job specified. The office staff could be a little more organized especially if they have the load of clients that they seem to.
