I was told that my case would take a year and a pile of money when I went to him. 5.5 years later, he had lost a pile of money and accomplished no justice towards the perpetrator of a financial crime. At the settlement conference at a Federal mediated court in CA with the parent company of the perpetrator, after he had run me out of money, he promised that he would relentlessly continue pursue the perpetrator on a contingency, and that the perpetrator couldn't bankrupt out of fraud, which we had a decision for. After the settlement with the parent company, the missing perpetrator re-appeared after being underground, declaring bankruptcy for the judgments against him as a result of his fraud. But when the time to "relentlessly pursue" him came, he said that I'd have to hire a specialist from CA since he didn't handle that kind of law, and that it could likely cost an additional six-figures- and "what do you want to do?- I need to know in 24 hours". Runs up the clock-puts himself first.
