I met with this attorney at a bar in Kemah to represent me for a Class C Misdemeanor and he was all over the place, not knowing a decent course of action and had to call other attorneys he works with to ask questions he should already know the answer to. I can't get into the details, as it would be directly related to that case, but I saw right away that this dude was no good. Plus he's one of the attorneys representing the Santa Fe school shooter.

My fiance got a citation and needed Attorney Barfield's assistance on clearing this. We paid it off just to find out that he never showed up in court to clear the citation. A year later, it was sent to collection. We tried calling Barfield and his office 9 times with 6 months, nothing! We are planning a trip to physically see him at his office if this continues.
