Extremely lazy. A former prosecutor who is intimidated by white clients. During my lenghty white collar trial, he was in a hurry to get back to his practice; so he cut every corner in the book and refused to put me on the withness stand: a lawyer who had no priors and no prior disipline. I spent three years in state prison and am still fighting my case ten years later! In most cases, you'd be better of with a public defender who won't overcharge yo before abandoninmg you!

The 5-09 rating is interesting. How can lawyer charge more than what is promised? Perhaps a retainer agreement would solve that problem. Mr. Perry actually took the witness stand and he lied, trying to defend himself against obvious malpractice. I was right there when it happened. The saddet thin of all is that this man creates a conflict of interest in every criminal matter because he is too closely aligned with the prosecutor. He simply cannot be trusted.

He's a poor orator and goes into his case expecting his client to cave in and take a "deal",so he is unprepared much of the time. He handled the case of a good friend of mine and sold him down the river.

Look at the 2008 ratings, He is arrogant and uncommunicative. He doesn't return calls and won't stick his nose in a lawbook. Instead, he puts it elswhere when he teams up with the jusge ans D.A so the client goes to prison and he doesn't have to do a lick of work.
