I hired Michael for a flat fee of $3000 for a "slam dunk" in a child custody and child support case. I was seeking equal parenting time and with no prior history of being a "bad" parent, it should have been a no brainer. He was lazy, unprepared and arrogant. I had to basically lay out the entire approach and he didn't even use half of the information I provided. I lost on every motion. My child support increased six-fold and I wasn't granted equal parenting time. To make matters worst, he should have filed a motion to modify the original mediated agreement due to the large increase in child support, but he forgot so not only do I have to pay six times more, but also everything I had committed to in the past agreement. Lastly, I was on the hook for my ex's legal fees which amounted to over $7,000. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for.

this guy charged me a flat fee to finish my case-- then after it dragged on forever-- basicly said he was done. I feel that he put enough time to earn his fee just with the amount courtroom appearances we had to attend-- however if he had done his job better the case should have ended much earlier. He NEVER put in responses to any of the opposing parties paperwork- which I felt was lazy and was dis-service to my case.. He seemed like a good deal as far as legal services charge-- if you don't really need somebody to be aggressive--

This is one of the lawyers who gives good lawyers a bad reputation. He plays dirty and has no concern for the best interest of either party. His extreme arrogance also has the tendency to make communication difficult and I've witnessed it turn people against him, who were previously neutral. I would never hire this attorney again.

This firm was wonderful!! I would recommend Mr. Baker to anyone in need of help. He was kind, warm and honest. The staff were so helpful and went out of there way to help. I will go back to this firm if I ever need representation again. Thank you
