My name is Ricky, I appeared in the show 90 day fiance and would've given these guys the publicity needed. However, these guys are a bunch of crooks. First of, i was given this horrible attorney Jesus, who was extremely complacent lazy and pretty much malpractice my entire case. I was so furious that even in touch weekly was going to write an article on these attorneys by using all the exchanges that we had back and forth from client to attorney as evidence of how the conduct there business. Anyone, thinking of even hiring these guys, please contact me, and ill show you all the receipts and exchanges that we had, and YOU determine if they are good for you or not. They took my entire 5K retainer, for work that a high-schooler made. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Also someone mention here that Eric said, "hey with 5K we will do everything", he said those same exact words to me, and they did absolutely NOTHING. I am easy to find, before hiring them contact me, ill show you everything.

The best in Austin. I had two other lawyers that did not do their job before I hired Eric. He was amazing in trial.He did what I asked and achieved more than I ever thought. When you're looking for the best, this is the guy to hire.

A lawsuit against Eric Willie has been filed by a former client in Travis County as Case Number: C-1-CV-17-003737. The lawsuit makes allegations of legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty for failing to protect marital estate, consumer fraud and deceptive practices for excessive or improper billing.

Charged $650.00 for initial divorce consultation which normally is free. Charged for a court date that was postponed. In court he sat on his phone while I was on the stand and did not make an objection until I asked him if I needed to answer a medical question. His RFPs and interrogatories were minimal compared to what I had to provide to opposing council. Kept dragging his heels while running up a huge tab. When I called him out on his court appearance he got really "pissy" with me. Had to repeatedly ask for information. Did not keep me updated at all. My case should've been a slam dunk. Next time I need a lawyer I am going to make sure he/she is board certified. Run, Run, as fast as you can from "slick Willie".

My wife had had custody of our son since he was 3 years old. When he turned 14 he asked me if he could live with me. I retained Mr. Willie as I knew my wife would fight tooth and nail to prevent him from living with me. I knew I needed a good lawyer. I was referred to Eric and he never disappointed me. From the get go he did everything he said he would do and had me in court in just a few months time. Last week the judge agreed with us and we won the case. My son now gets to live with me full time and it's my wife who now has every other weekend for custody. It wasn't the cheapest case to pursue but it was worth every penny. There are a lot of lawyers in this town but the old saying "you get what you pay for" definitely is true. Mr. Willie knows exactly how to accomplish what you want. When you're done with the rest and want a real lawyer to step up for you, you need to go to him. Trust me.

I just went through a very strenuous divorce trial. Eric represented me during this time and also helped me get custody of my kids. I can not thank him enough. He has the experience and knowledge to get you through a trial and come out on the winning side. He calms you down in times of need and is extremely patient. This is the guy to go with.

I gave Eric $10,500 out of a $20K loan for a child custody case. I went to court twice with Eric and felt as if he didn't even read my case. He seemed unprepared and carless in court as he sat there and text the entire time. When called to the stand his answers to the judge were completely nonchalant. The people I paid to subpoena in court were never able to talk. Eric allowed my case to get transferred 100 miles away as well as make me think that "supervised visitation" was in my best interest. My supervised visits are now out of town,in a house and cost me $200 a month for 4 hours. Once Eric gave me the itemized bill after 2.5 months of hiring him and 2 court dates, my 10K was gone. He billed nothing to his paralegal and when I told him I didn't have another 10k his exact words were "didn't you pull out 20K". My advice is to steer clear of Mr. Willie. He is all about the money and does not care about your case. During the 2.5 months with Eric I never saw my daughters. #TrustYourGut

We met Mr. Willie for the first time the day of our hearing because we lived in different cities. Immediately there was a connection. It felt like we had known him for years. This was important because all communication was per phone due to the distance between us. It was. amazing to see him in action. We won that day. We won the opportunity to continue to be a good parent and step mother, the opportunity to love our child, the opportunity to have the right to see our child, and the opportunity to have peace in our lives again. Thanks Eric! You made a tough situation easier to tolerate. You restored our faith in justice. Fathers are so overlooked in the judicial system and you made sure that I shined.

I hired Eric to get custody of my kids in 2015. I was scared because my wife had run off with our three children. Eric told me that alienation was going on and that we would be successful in court. Boy was he right. On the day of court, Eric did a wonderful job. At the end, the judge ruled in our favor and I got my kids back. I owe the world to Mr. Willie.

I hired Eric Willie in 2012 for my divorce and custody case. I had 2 week notice for trial.Eric gave me a 90% chance that he could get a continuance. He asked for $6500 in retainer and said this would be for the entire trial and if there was time he didnt have to spend on the case then it would be partially refunded. He was unable to get the continuance and spent a total of 10 days working on the case in which I only met with him twice. When we went to court the final (and ONLY) trial was in front of a visiting judge, which I later learned the was the biggest mistake of my incompetent attorney. In In 3 hours Eric lost me my son. I later found out that he could have denied the visiting judge.After the decision was made I could never reach Eric Willie. I never saw a dime back from my retainer which mattered very little at this point. Looking back this was by far the most regretful decision of my life. My son is almost 8 now and cries out for more time with me and to come live with me.

He is more salesman than attorney. He showed up to my case unprepared and completely clueless to what was going on. He is great a selling you on what he can do than actually doing it. Would tell me he was working on my case all day and didnt even know the current visitation. No comunication. All his questions in court had nothing to do with the case. Stay away from this guy.

Our situation was dire. Our previous attorney took advantage of us and got super chummy with the opposing counsel and was extremely unethical. Enter Eric Willie, who was our champion in protecting my child from a horrible situation. It was an extremely uphill battle that we handed him. In fact it was so bleak that we had one attorney tell us she would take the case but she was certain we would lose, and then another straight up would not take our case. We became worried that anyone taking our case and telling us there was hope would just be lying. But Willie did believe there was hope and he had reason to be confident in his experience and ability. I trusted Willie to tell it like it is. His rates are lower than those supposed super lawyers and otherwise overpriced money grubbers, and yet he does a BETTER job than they do and makes better use of your funds. You will be in good hands with Eric Willie, especially if there are kids in involved and your intentions are positive!

I've used Eric on multiple occasions! I've never had the impression he's in it for just the money, and I've been very pleased with the results I've received for the amount i paid. His staff and him represented me to the fullest and were able to get me everything I every wanted out of my case(s).

I hired Mr. Willie to handle a family law issue and Mr. Willie deliberately mislead me, he mishandled my case and he behaved inappropriately and abusively. Please do not trust this attorney. Do not get sucked into giving him money.

I hired Eric for my child custody case at the beginning of last year. After eight months of going to court, I was successful in gaining custody of my children. Eric was knowledgeble, persistent and aggressive. He did what I asked and I am extremely pleased with the results. Eric is the guy to go to when your family is at stake.

I hired Eric and his law firm in November. What was supposed to be a long contested case turned out to be the opposite thanks to the help of Eric. He made this whole process easier and at a fraction of the cost of what other attorneys had quoted me. As a single mom, I was very grateful for this. Absolutely worst!!he cares nothing but money. He has no concerns of client's requests, ignored client's emails, lies about bills,and way over charged clients. He charged over $4500 for only original petition plus 3 standard requests. He will lure you by promising you something which will never happen to pay more money from you. Run away from him ASAP !!!I wonder who can stop this ridiculous law firm in austin city
